My experience with Regina was one my husband and I will never forget. Our second birth was the first time using a doula and I don't know how I ever gave birth without one. Regina came highly recommended by a few friends and upon meeting her I knew it was a perfect match. She provided me with so much knowledge (via our conversations and reading materials) and confidence, that I was able to have the VBAC I hoped for. After almost 60 hours of labor, Regina literally held my hand and kept me as comfortable as possible, and continued to empower me even when I wanted to give up. My husband appreciated the experience as much as I did and was impressed with the level of care and attention Regina gave. Regina surpasses her stellar reputation with her level of care and expertise. We feel so lucky to have had her attend our son's birth.

My partner and I, Kwame, met Regina during my first trimester as we had no clue what to expect for our first pregnancy and wanted to make sure what we were doing was "right". After our meeting Regina served as our doula for most of the duration of my pregnancy, which we know is not typical for a doula. However, her willingness to get to know us, answer any questions we had about what to expect for the trimesters to follow is a reflection of how committed she is not just ensuring her clients have a safe delivery, but truly getting to know the family. For example, Regina invited us to attend events that she was participating in and thought we could benefit from, doing so made us feel like she was truly interested in making sure that she was here for our pregnancy journey. As first time parents we felt there were not many people (family, friends) that could advise us on the birth experience we wanted, stepping into something so new and without guidance can feel intimidating but having Regina inform us on everything from the type of experiences that are typical of certain hospitals to what to expect if our birth plan goes astray made us realize that every woman should have a doula! We can confidently say it is due to Regina's patience, care, and knowledge that we had a pleasurable birth experience and was able to deliver at a place we did not even know existed!

If you're looking for a guide and partner to help you through your birth experience- Regina is an excellent choice. She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Her kind and authoritative manner helped put my husband and I at ease- we felt very comfortable asking questions and expressing our concerns knowing that Regina would help guide us to figure out our own wants and needs.
Over 2 in home sessions, Regina provided several exercises and projects to help us learn about birth (I am still amazed at the way TV gave me a really wrong impression about what the birthing process is like.) She gave lots of helpful tips to manage low-back pain in the last few weeks before delivery- as well as lead us through several scenarios to help us figure out how we would respond should an emergency arrive while I was in labor. These exercises were extremely helpful for both me and my husband. Regina also has lots of great contacts to help with acupuncture, breast feeding, community building etc.
While having her in the hospital was great to help keep me comfortable, entertained, and motivated- I will always value the time we spent before going to the hospital and the information that helped calm any fears I had about delivery and got me and my husband on the same page with what to expect.
If you're like me, and have no idea if you even need a doula or what benefits you would get out of it, call Regina. She'll tell you what she can offer you- and she'll provide so much more than you ever knew you needed.

Regina was the most amazing doula. She was more than we could ever hope for, and if I ever gave birth again, I'd want to have her by my side while giving birth.
We knew the moment we met Regina she'd be great. She has this positive and loving air about her that immediately made us nervous first time parents feel at ease.
She met with us in our home to go over birthing positions, our birth plan, and how she could support us. On the big day, she helped me labor, tended to dad, smoothed things over with the hospital staff, and comforted me, including placing lavender around the room and a heating pad on my shoulders. She helped work with our birthing team to ensure that my unmediated birth experience was as memorable and smooth as possible.
She suggested and helped me get into positions that would ease and speed my labor. She made sure dad got rest. She even took pictures as our beautiful daughter was born!
Regina visited again once we got home to help me troubleshoot my breastfeeding journey.
I'd have to say that Regina went above and beyond what we expected and often knew what we needed before we even knew it.
Regina also visited a class of my high school students to discuss with them natural childbirth and a doula as a career path. She even inspired a student to pursue becoming a doula herself!
There aren't enough words to express how lucky I feel to have met someone so giving and caring and helpful. Don't hesitate to hire Regina. She's awesome!

You could not go wrong with having Regina as your doula! What an amazing human being. She is the type of person that adapts to the environment. During my labor, at times, I needed calm, serene, and peace. Other times, I needed to DANCE, and she helped my husband and mother create what I needed to get through. She provided the support and listening ear during a time when a pregnant woman can almost feel crazed with worry. As soon as we found out we were pregnant again, my husband looked over at me and said, please reach out to Regina asap! Goes to show how much he valued her presense! I believe every birth can benefit from the presence of a doula. I'll take it a step further and say that every birth can benefit from the presence of Regina.

Regina is an amazing doula. She attended my pre-birth classes with me and was a tremendous support during labor! She prepared me for so much. I also requested her support post birth. She helped me with breastfeeding, allowed me time to rest, and also helped me bond with my baby. I highly recommend Regina!

Regina was great as a doula that I would recommend every one to be sure to have a soul by their side when pregnant and ready to give birth. She was extremely informative and likable. I'm glad I had her support while in labor which lasted nearly 20 hours. She was patient and made sure I was comfortable.
